Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Vera ("Vera", "we", "us") collects when you use joinvera.app, what we do with it, and the choices you have. Vera is run by its owners in the United States.

1. What we collect

Account details. Your email address. If you sign up with a password, a scrambled (hashed) version of it is stored; we never see the password itself. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile details such as your name from Google.
What you upload. Photos, videos, audio files and reference ads you add to a tool or to the Editor.
What you type. Prompts, scripts, product descriptions and the settings you choose.
What you make. The videos, images, audio, scripts and transcripts Vera generates for you, kept in your library.
Plan and credit records. Your plan, your credit balance and a history of credits added and spent.
Payment records. Payments are processed by Whop. We receive confirmation that a payment happened, what was bought and a reference number. We do not receive or store your full card number.
Technical information. Standard server records such as your IP address, browser type and the time of each request, used to run and protect the service.

2. How we use it

To run your account and log you in.
To make the videos, images, audio and scripts you ask for, and to keep them in your library.
To keep track of plans, credits and payments.
To send service emails, such as password resets and messages about your account.
To answer you when you contact support.
To prevent abuse and fraud, fix problems and keep the service secure.
To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your uploads or results to advertise to you, and we do not show them publicly or use them as examples without your permission.

3. Companies that help us run Vera

We share information with the following kinds of service providers, only as far as needed for them to do their job:

AI model providers. Your prompts and uploads are sent to the AI services that produce your results. These currently include fal, Kie, Anthropic and Google, and the model makers they route to (for example Kling, ByteDance, MiniMax, xAI, ElevenLabs, Topaz, Recraft and Bria). Each handles data under its own terms.
Supabase. Stores accounts, the database and your files.
Railway and Netlify. Host the server and the website.
Cloudflare. Runs our domain and the "are you human" check on the login form.
Whop. Processes payments and subscriptions.
Resend. Delivers our emails.
Google. Provides "Continue with Google" sign-in, if you choose it.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of Vera, our users or the public, or as part of a sale or merger of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.

4. Cookies and storage in your browser

Vera stores a small amount of information in your browser to keep you logged in and to remember your unfinished work, such as drafts and your Editor project. The login check uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which may set its own cookie to tell people from bots. We do not use advertising cookies.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account information and your library for as long as your account is open. Files you uploaded only as inputs may be deleted sooner. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information within a reasonable time, except records we must keep for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons.

6. Your choices

See or correct your information. Most of it is visible in My profile.
Delete results. You can delete items from your library at any time.
Delete your account. Email hello@joinvera.app from the address on your account and we will delete it.
Ask for a copy. Email us and we will send the personal information we hold about you.

Depending on where you live, you may have extra rights over your personal information, such as the right to object to certain uses. Contact us and we will respond as the law requires. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable infrastructure providers to protect your information. No online service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong password that you do not use elsewhere.

8. Children

Vera is for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

9. Where your information is processed

Vera is run from the United States, and our providers process information in the United States and other countries. If you use Vera from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in those places.

10. People who appear in your uploads

If you upload a photo, video or voice recording of another person, you are responsible for having their permission. If you believe someone has used your image or voice in Vera without permission, email hello@joinvera.app.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the studio or by email. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
